BTDT

What does BTDT stand for in messages?

Been there, done that

BTDT is a quick way to say, "I've already experienced that." For example, if a friend asks if you want to go skydiving, you might reply, "BTDT. I'm keeping my feet on the ground for the foreseeable future. :)"

People typically use it when messaging, like in texts or messages online (e.g., Twitter DMs). For example, you may text your sister if she wants to eat at the restaurant down the street, and she replies, "BTDT. The food is OK, but not worth the price. You wanna come for, and I'll make something?"
