Duckroll is a means to mislead or trick someone. It is a prank where a person submits a link that appears to lead to a news story or something relevant but instead leads to a picture of a duck with wheels.

The term was created around 2006-07 in the image-board website "4chan." The duckroll prank gave birth to the infamous rickroll prank.
