In chat and text messages, IGN stands for "I've got nothing." Typically, people send this acronym in response to questions for which they don't have a good answer.
For example, if you ask your GF why people keep moving to Florida, she may reply with "IGN, seems dumb to me, too."
People may also use IGN to state they literally have nothing (rather than no good ideas). For example, if you ask your friend Patrick what kinds of snacks he has on hand, he may use IGN to say he has zero snacks. (C'mon, Patrick.)
