PVE

What does PvE stand for in online gaming?

Player versus environment

PvE games are those in which a player plays not against other players, but against a game's environment. This may take the form of surviving the elements, gathering food and water, and/or fighting NPC enemies.

For example, Minecraft (MC) includes two popular PvE modes: survival multiplayer (SMP) and survival single player (SSP). In both modes, players' primary objective is just to survive in the game world, while exploring and building structures (though players can engage in PvP battles in SMP).

Example

The multiplayer option is the best, but the game's PVE mode is pretty fun too
