A vacation near your home

Staycation is a vacation where you stay at your home or near your home. It combines "stay" and "vacation."

Staycations have become more popular as people lead busier lives and want a time to just stay at or near home and relax. When vacations are oftentimes more work than relaxation, staycations offer participants the opportunity for more rest and fun with less stress. Also, they are usually much more affordable than traveling vacations.
