TMTH

What does TMTH stand for?

Too much to handle

If a person, like a girlfriend, is too clingy or high-maintenance, you might describe her as "TMTH," which means "too much to handle." You might also describe non-people things as TMTH, like an overwhelming or overbearing situation (e.g., a funeral, foreclosure, etc.).

Being TMTH is similar to when someone is extra and may also appear as 2M2H. For example, if your boss micromanages you, you might confess to your work friend that "the boss is TMTH right now!" Or, a couple that adopts a needy puppy may say, "Trixie is TMTH. We need a break!"
