What does aleppo moment mean?

An Aleppo moment is when you momentarily forget something. It comes from POTUS hopeful Gary Johnson's inability to answer a question about how he would handle the situation in Aleppo, Syria.

The moment occurred on September 8, 2016 when Johnson appeared on MSNBC's Morning Joe TV show. He was asked by Mike Barnicle about Aleppo and Johnson responded, "What is Aleppo?" The Aleppo moment term has since become synonymous with the "brain fart" term.
