DGAF

What does DGAF stand for?

Don't give a f***

Censored

DGAF is when you absolutely do not care about something. People typically use it to show extreme disdain towards opinions, situations, or an authoritative figure.

You will most likely see DGAF in texts, online messages, and social media posts where the sender is frustrated and exhausted with someone or something. For example, your friend may be upset with her strict dad and text, "I DGAF about his rules."

Since DGAF includes an expletive, it may offend the recipient. Therefore, be judicious when using the acronym. Other variations of DGAF include "IDGAF," "IJDGAF," "IDC," and "IDFC."
