What does doo-doo mean?

Doo-doo is a term that children and swearing-averse adults use to refer to poop. This poop could be their own or others'. (E.g. "Daaaddy, Rex made a doo-doo in the front yard.")

Additionally, some people use doo-doo to describe troublesome situations, which are just as irritating or exasperating to encounter as a surprise pile of poop. For example, if you and your friend Stephanie are caught cheating on a test, Stephanie might say "we're in some deep doo-doo."
