EML

What does EML stand for in messages and emails?

Email me later

When someone wants you to email them at a later time, they may send you "EML." For example, if your co-worker needs the new graphics for a campaign, they may message you, "I need the re-designed assets by EOD today. Can you EML?"

People may send EML in various situations. For example, they may send it as a reminder or because they are busy (maybe in a meeting or eating) and will get back to you later via email.

While "later" is subjective, EML usually refers to a time later that day. If you go longer than a day, the person may contact you again, especially if the matter is time sensitive.
