Minnow is a DFS term for an inexperienced and weak player who is easy to beat. They are often taken advantage of by bigger fish and sharks that prey on lesser competition.
Minnows are new to the format and oftentimes just don't care as much about winning as bigger fish and sharks do. These minnows lose a lot of money, which the bigger fish and sharks feed off of. Roughly 70% of them lose money playing DFS.
