Middle school
MS is an acronym for "middle school," which is where students get their lower, or junior, secondary education. The acronym is typically used online when typing to save on space and keystrokes.
In the United States, kids enter into middle, or junior high, school (grades 6 to 8 or 7 to 9) after they receive their primary education in elementary school. Middle school is the weirdest stage of school for many students because of puberty and all the awkwardness that follows. It usually continues on to high school (grades 9 to 12 or 10 to 12) where students receive their secondary education.

Most often, League of Legends (LoL) players use MS to refer to a champion's movement speed. This stat determines how quickly a champion can run across a map. The higher a champion's MS, the faster they can move.
Each champion has a default MS, which can be buffed and debuffed by items and abilities. If a champion's MS becomes greater than 415 (the equivalent of moving 4.15 Teemos per second), LoL applies a soft cap to any additional MS bonuses, to ensure the champion doesn't move too quickly.
What else do LoL players use MS to mean?
LoL players also sometimes use MS to mean milliseconds, when discussing players' pings (the amount of time it takes data to travel from your computer to LoL's servers). The game shows players' pings and FPS in its upper right-hand corner.
