What does PS5 stand for?

PlayStation 5

A PS5 is a home game console developed by Sony. It is the fifth installment in the PlayStation series, which includes PS, PS2, PS3, and PS4.

The PS5 was released in 2020, replacing the PS4, which was released in 2013. The PS5 console was also released the same month as the Xbox Series X and Series S consoles.

PS5 was initially distributed in two variations: one with a disc drive compatible with Ultra HD Blu-rays and a Digital Edition for users who only want to play games via digital download. Some popular titles released for PS4 include Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Assassin's Creed Valhalla, CyberPunk 2077, Astro's Playroom, Hitman 3, God of War, and Demon's Souls.

PS5 Grinch Bots

When the console was released in November 2020, there was a shortage of consoles available for purchase. This led to some consumers trying to buy large numerous consoles to resell them for a significant profit. Some scalpers utilized grinch bots to purchase consoles online immediately when they were listed, then sell them for thousands of dollars to desperate shoppers.
