Rage Against the Machine, or RATM, is a Californian rock band that was founded in 1991. The band's fans often refer to the band as RATM or just Rage.

Comprised of lead vocalist Zack de la Rocha, bassist and backup vocalist Tim Commerford, guitarist Tom Morello, and drummer Bard Wilk, RATM is famous for influencing the nu metal musical genre. Some of their most popular songs include:

  • Killing in the Name
  • Bulls on Parade
  • Guerrila Radio
  • Sleep Now in the Fire

In 2000, RATM disbanded, with Commerford, Morello, and Wilk moving on to start Audioslave with vocalist and guitarist Chris Cornell. In 2007, Rage announced a reunion tour, and the band has continued performing together sporadically.
