|Meaning||Second starting fantasy running back|
Most FFLs feature starting lineups with 1 QB, 2 RBs, 3 WRs (or 2 WRs and a flex position), 1 TE, 1 K, and 1 team defense and special teams. RB1 and RB2 are often the most productive positions in leagues that implement standard scoring. However, PPR leagues give the WR positions added value because each catch equals a point (more or less than one point depending on league settings). The RB position can catch balls too though, which helps them retain value in PPR leagues.
"I'm gonna go high on my QB1 and then wait until the later rounds for my QB2."
