Selfie-conscious is a term that describes the fear that other people are staring at and judging you as you take a selfie. It often occurs when you are alone in public and taking a picture of yourself.

A person usually becomes selfie-conscious when she sees the people around her annoyed that she is taking a selfie. The selfie could be interrupting other people or they are just plain annoyed of people's urge to take photos of themselves.
