A snapchatter is a person who uses Snapchat, an image and video messaging mobile application. Snapchat was created by Evan Spiegel, Reggie Brown, and Bobby Murphy and released in September 2011.

Snapchatters can send text, images, and video, which are known as "snaps." They can apply filters and effects to their messages for added fun. Snapchatters can view "stories" from friends and watch ad-supported content through the "discover" feature.
