Snowflake

What kind of person is a snowflake?

A sensitive person

A snowflake is a person who is easily offended, too emotionally vulnerable to deal with challenging views, and non-resilient compared to others. It is meant to be derogatory and comes from the fragility of a snowflake that easily melts when coming in contact with an object.

Many people believe the origin of the term comes from the 1996 book and 1999 movie Fight Club, which includes the line, "You are not special. You are not a beautiful and unique snowflake." However, the term didn't truly gain popularity until many years later when older people began using the term to describe younger people in the 2010s.

The term is often used by older conservatives to make fun of younger liberals similar to the "liberal tears" term. But younger people also turn it around on older people when they complain about politics.
