What does STMS stand for in messages?

When someone feels ill, they may use STMS to mean "sick to my stomach." Their stated illness may be a real, physical one, with actual stomach-upending symptoms. Or, it may be a spiritual sickness, caused by reading or seeing something shocking, tragic, or inappropriate.

For example, if your co-worker Lyle says he is "STMS, planning to go home at lunch," he is likely physically sick. However, if your mother says "your brother's words made me STMS," she's probably just trying to comprehend your brother's terrible behavior.
