A term for the pitcher's mound in baseball.
The mound is located in the middle of the diamond, 60 feet and 6 inches away from home plate. It has a diameter of 18 feet and can be no more than 10 inches above home plate. In the middle of the mound is the pitcher's plate, or rubber, and the pitcher must be touching this with his foot when he delivers.
