NED

What does NED stand for in couponing?

No expiration date

A coupon marked NED has "no expiration date." You're most likely to encounter this term on couponing websites and forums, when users are discussing a coupon or rebate that is (at least theoretically) good forever.

Because most businesses don't want to perennially honor all the coupons they've issued, very few coupons have NED. Thus, NED coupons are a big deal in the couponing world. However, even if you're lucky enough to find a NED coupon, a business may choose not to honor it if it is very old.

Example

I found a NED coupon for nuts at Farm & Fleet!
Yeah, they use that one to get you in the door, so you'll buy other stuff
