QB1 is a fantasy football (FFB) position that refers to a team's starting quarterback. The acronym is only used in FFB leagues that allow two QBs to start in a game.
Most leagues consist of starting lineups with 1 QB, 2 RBs, 3 WRs (or 2 WRs and a flex position), 1 TE, 1 K, and 1 team defense and special teams. However, leagues with less teams in them have more QBs available to draft, which opens the feasibility of starting 2 QBs. These leagues us the QB1 and QB2 acronyms.
