A reply guy is a man who replies to every social media post that a woman makes. Each time his targeted woman (or more likely, women) posts an update, the reply guy is there, ready to offer his "insight" on that woman's thoughts or experiences.
Usually, reply guys' comments consist of slightly-patronizing affirmations, unnecessary mansplaining, and overly-familiar praise or criticism. While much of this commentary is largely harmless, most women still find dealing with reply guys to be quite annoying. And in some cases, a woman's reply guy(s) might cross the line, becoming a full-on (and potentially dangerous) creeper.
