A baseball statistic used to keep track of the number of sacrifice bunts a player has performed.

A bunt is a type of hit where the batter sticks his bat out to make contact with the pitch to purposely hit it only a few feet, which makes it hard for fielders to defend. A sacrifice bunt is a bunt that moves baserunners to the next base while the hitter is thrown out at first base. A sacrifice bunt does not lower a player's batting average.
