Glazing is the act of sucking up to or praising someone to a cringe degree. This term originated in 2021, as a variant of other sexually-suggestive terms for sucking up to someone. (If you can't think of why the word glazing might be considered sexually-suggestive, bless your heart.)
While this use of glazing originated among Discord and Twitter users, it has since gone viral and spread to other platforms. Thus, you may also see users accuse each other of glazing on TikTok, Twitch, and YouTube.
