TikTokers sometimes use the word panoramic in place of "pandemic." This substitution (supposedly) allows users to get around TikTok's automated moderation tools, which search for and flag COVID-related misinformation.
For example, a TikToker posting about how the pandemic was faked by the American deep state might use the word panoramic in place of pandemic. Or, a user describing their pandemic hobbies might use panoramic, to help ensure their video is not mistakenly flagged.
Panoramic is one of many examples of algospeak, which is slang created to skirt automated social media content filters. Other examples include accountant, corn, leg booty, and saltine.
